Product Description & Reviews
Designed for professional landscapers and arborists, the Rittenhouse RF-3000 Professional Root Feeder and Soil Injector can be used for injecting nutrients into the soil around trees, shrubs, and evergreens. Feeding your trees and shrubs with nutrients below the soil surface will deliver much needed growth and health to the root zone, allowing them to continue to thrive. The strong seamless schedule 80 stainless steel tubing this professional rootfeeder is made of allows it to stand up to the harsh effects of various liquids. A footplate design prevents liquid from coming back up the hole and spraying you or covering you with, something that may occur with other root feeders as they do not have this feature. The 3-hole tip at the bottom is removable and can be replaced (Hudson # 38918, sold separately).
NOTE: The Rittenhouse RF-3000 must be attached to a sprayer pumping system and it is recommended to have at least 150 psi when rootfeeding. The RF-3000 Root Feeder is best used at 150 psi and 3.5 gpm. It attaches with a 3/4" garden hose fitting.
