Product Description & Reviews
Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass is a signature variety directed towards adapting to climate change. Because resources for maintaining professional turf continue to be limited, choosing the right variety is critical to maintaining healthy turf. Recent results from the National Turf Evaluation Program put Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass in the top ten for salt and wear tolerance, with strong resistance to most common turf diseases. Hancock forms a beautiful, dark green turf, with early spring green-up, fine leaves and excellent density. Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass is designed for areas where reclaimed water will be used for irrigation. Applied straight, or using Hancock in blends and mixes, is a beneficial enhancement for improving marginally salt tolerant turf. It is excellent for use on golf course tees and fairways, sports venues, parks and home lawns. If you are overseeding an existing area, it is pertinent to mow existing grass low and incorporate seed 1/4 in. into soil for best results. Irrigate newly-seeded areas every other day until the sprout reaches 6 in., then water recommended three times a week if needed.
